How unlocking works

Generating an itinerary is free. To see the full plan — all days, specific place names, maps, and tips — you unlock it with one credit.

One credit = one unlocked itinerary. Credits never expire.

Pricing

The 10-pack is the best value if you're planning multiple trips or want credits on hand for future adventures.

How to unlock a trip

1. Open any locked itinerary.
2. Click Unlock Full Itinerary.
3. If you have credits already, click Use a credit — the trip unlocks immediately.
4. If you need to purchase, you'll see the checkout options. Complete payment and the trip unlocks automatically.

Your credit balance

Check your current balance at /dashboard/credits. This page also shows your purchase history.

Promo codes

HipTrip occasionally offers promo codes that grant free credits. To redeem one:

1. Go to /dashboard/credits.
2. Enter your code in the Promo code field and click Apply.
3. Credits are added to your account immediately.

Notes:

• Each promo code can only be used once per account.
• Codes may have expiration dates — apply them promptly.
• You can also apply a promo code during sign-up if you have one.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. HipTrip does not store your card details. If you have a billing question, contact hello@hiptrip.com.
