Dashboard Overview

Your HipTrip dashboard is the central hub for managing your travel plans. Once logged in, you'll be greeted with a personalized welcome message and quick access to key features.

Quick Actions

At the top of the dashboard, you'll find three main action cards:

  1. Generate New Itinerary:

    • Click this to start the AI trip planner.
    • This takes you to the Trip Generator page where you can specify your preferences.

  2. Explore Curated Trips:

    • Browse a selection of hand-picked hiking and biking adventures.
    • These are pre-made trips verified by our experts.

  3. Your Saved Trips:

    • Quick access to all your saved itineraries and bookmarked curated trips.
    • See Managing Trips for more details.

Recent Itineraries

Below the quick actions, you'll see your most recent AI-generated itineraries.

  • View Recent Plans: The 3 most recent active (not archived) itineraries are displayed here for quick access.
  • View All: Click the "View all" link to see your complete collection of saved itineraries.
  • Create First Itinerary: If you haven't created any trips yet, you'll see a prompt to generate your first itinerary.
