Managing Your Trips
As you generate more itineraries, you'll want to organize them. HipTrip provides tools to save favorites and archive old trips.
Saved Itineraries
Your Saved Trips page is your main library of active itineraries.
Marking as Favorite
You can mark a trip as a favorite to make it stand out.
- On the Itinerary Page: Click the heart icon in the header.
- On the Card: Look for the star icon.
Viewing Saved Trips
- Go to your Dashboard.
- Click on Your Saved Trips or navigate to the "Saved" section.
- Here you will see all your active itineraries.
Archiving Trips
If you have completed a trip or no longer need an itinerary, you can archive it to keep your dashboard clean without permanently deleting it.
How to Archive
- On the Itinerary Page: Click the archive icon (box with a down arrow) in the header.
- On the Dashboard/Saved List: Click the archive button on the trip card.
Accessing Archived Trips
To view trips you have archived:
- Go to your Dashboard.
- You may need to navigate to the Archived Itineraries page (usually linked from the bottom or side navigation, or via
/dashboard/archived). - From here, you can view past trips.
Restoring Archived Trips
If you want to bring a trip back to your active list:
- Navigate to your Archived Itineraries.
- Find the trip you want to restore.
- Click the Unarchive/Restore button (often the same icon as archive, or a reverse arrow).
- The trip will reappear in your Saved Trips list.
